Since beginning his legal career in 2011, Jose Aguirre has dedicated his practice to helping those who need it most. After graduating from Notre Dame Law School, Jose began his career at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s office where he represented people who were accused of a crime and could not afford a lawyer. He protected the constitutional rights of his clients, giving them a voice in a system that is often skewed against them. While at the Public Defender’s office, Jose gained invaluable litigation skills that have helped mold him into the strong advocate he is today. He tried dozens of jury and bench trials to verdict, ranging from DUI to first-degree murder.
After leaving the Public Defender’s office in 2016, Jose joined a civil firm that represented thousands of clean-up workers and Gulf Coast residents that were made sick as a result of exposure to toxic chemicals from the Deepwater Horizon BP Oil Spill. Jose gained valuable toxic tort and personal injury litigation experience, while again helping those in need. Fueled by his desire to continue helping people by providing zealous representation, Jose helped create lowercase. His passion for service is stronger than ever.
Jose was born in Miami and grew up in Weston, Florida. He loves South Florida and the diverse people that make it the best part of the country. He is a big sports fan, supporting the Heat, Marlins, Dolphins, and Panthers in addition to his alma maters.
